    I've done this and Noire is still not working.

    Have got Kontakt 5, 6, 7 in Logic and it's not running with any of them. The same "too old" message.

    I have a 'work' computer and a 'music' computer. (Sadly cannot get the 'piano' keyboard anywhere near the computer that Noire WILL actually work on).

    Noire runs on one but not the other, with apparently identical setups.... (as in previous post I have 5, 6, and 7 on both machines but none of them will run it on the main 'music' computer).

    I'm having the same issue. I purchased Noire and Stradivari Cello. When I first followed these links, neither worked, though after a few random button mashing, the cello now works (no idea what changed) but the Noire still says kontakt 6 is too old.

    @Jeremy_NI I'm using reaper on mac os catalina and have tried just about every legacy version of kontakt there is.

    We should not have to do this manually! Came here to express my displeasure, on a fresh install, with Native Instruments automatically downloading versions of instruments that no longer work with the version of Kontakt that I own (6). This is a wildly scummy practice, trying to get people to fork over a few hundred bucks rather than waste their time figuring this out.

    Are you sure you didn’t accidentally install them manually? Updates sit in NA until you hit the install button. I’ve never had NA automatically install anything.

    @ak1712 said „on a fresh install“.

    Please stop suggesting it’s always a user error.

    If “a fresh install” means he/she install the latest version of NA, yeah… like I said, I recently install the latest version of NA and it didn’t install any software instruments automatically. There’s not even anything in NA preferences to set for automatic downloading of anything… so… yeah.

    @MrFresh at any rate I am glad that at least one among us is smart enough to use Kontakt and Native Access correctly and humble enough to tell us so relentlessly. I think congratulations are in order.

    @Jeremy_NI

    I have downloaded the Noire files (also Ethereal Earth, Hybrid Keys, and Analog Dreams) as per the original post in this thread.

    I installed them successfully.

    I "opened" Native Access after doing so. (again, as per the original post).

    I then opened Logic and, in that, Kontakt, to select the sounds.

    I still get the "Your version of Kontakt is too old" message.

    I have tried to access the sounds in Kontakt 7, 6, and 5. None works. I have also rebooted the computer.

    (Mac running 10.15.7 and Logic 10.6.3 and Native Access 3.5.2)

    What am I doing wrong? And what do I do now?

    I ran into this very same problem 2 days ago, i'm still on Mojave but didn't update in quite a while, then decided to update library, which it did, but then it prompted me to close N.i installer for a newer version(which i didn't want). I wanted to keep the one that actually worked with my macos. Never the less, it wouldn't install the latest and the app showed as incompatible and the older app simply disappeared. HOW FRUSTRATING!!!!! Then when i went to open contact 6 it says the library was incompatible and to update my macos!!! That isnt an option for me!!! I just wanted to keep what i had in place. So to that end i say, there needs to be an option of keeping a working N.I installer with out the need for forced upgrades, i've been a N.I user for 10 years now and expect better service than that..

    I have K5, 6 and 7 installed via Native Access plus the Ultimate Collectors version plus hundreds of other instruments.

    The message "Your Kontakt Version is too old" also appears in this constellation.

    When I install the updates for the K6 instruments displayed in NA via NA, they no longer work - so I have to install the K6 versions again

    - NI has behaved like a pig shop in this whole matter and there is no help anywhere, not even for those who have already paid more than €20K to NI.

    Hello Jeremy, i have contacted support and daniel has responded with links, but i still cant figure out how to keep the version of native access that is compatible with my macos without it prompting me to upgrade. then again if ive gotten all i need i may not need the app anymore(thats a thought) but i did save the installer on a hardrive for future instances of needing it. i guess it is what it is...
