installing older Kontakt- help!

I am running a mac 10.14.6 so I downloaded the Kontakt player 6.8.0. It comes up fine in Ableton, but when it prompts me to activate, it just takes me to the NI site to download the latest version. Anyone know how to get out of this loop?

You need to install a legacy version of Native Access, compatible with 10.14: Native Access Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems

Then you'll find all the versions for our products compatible with your OS here: Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS

This is not correct.

Activation, opens the Native Access, not NI website.
