How to get rid of this? Is this thing permanent on the new NA DESKTOP APP? This thing sucks.
You can't get rid of it at the moment. It might go away once the sales end though

If ads on your page, ads in email, ads through ad portals everywhere isnt enough for NI's marketing department to feel "seen", perhaps I'll remove NI products and just use the rest of my studio. I havent started NA up in months since KK 3.0 and all the drama about all this, and I am loathe to do so now.
My Personal Computer's desktop space is NOT your advertising space, in any case, and if this is NI's philosophy going forward, this will be a solid reason to avoid the brand. I understand there are many newer, younger customers you can appeal to who dont see this aggressive marketing as unusual or invasive, but I am not one of your younger, newer customers.
