Kontrol MK3 access Midi Controller Mode

If I want to switch from DAW mode to controller mode, this is only possible in a very awkward way using a bracket handle (shift+Settings MIDI). Is there an easier way?

As I rarely need settings but constantly need the midi controller mode, it would be more logical the other way round for me, i.e. shift+key for the settings. Alternatively, a double press on the DAW button would make sense. Can this be configured somewhere?

@Steril1234 Unfortunately there is no other way to put the keyboard in midi mode, you need to press SHIFT + SETTINGS MIDI

I don't quite understand what you're asking.

If you are in the DAW mixer page on the keyboard, and want to see the plug-in, press the PLUG-IN button. Is that it?

No, I want to switch between DAW- and Midi Controller Mode (not Plugin Mode!) without pressing two knobs simultaneously.

Can you lock Shift? For people with accessibility problems having to press Shift-something can be difficult.

This would help, or a reprogramming the other way around: Shift for setting! No shift for Controller Mode.
