Can you use the s49 MK3 standalone at all?
I noticed the Maschine+ has standalone, if you have one of those AND a S49 MK3, can you play it as a normal keyboard without a computer?
I'm looking for something that is mainly a keyboard but can also control my daw when needed.

Yes. But as a standard MIDI device only, without the advanced features of a NI controller.
You can use it without a computer, but then you need a power supply and MIDI cables.
