Komplete Kontrol 3.x and Arturia VSTs

Quick background: "upgraded" from 88 mk1 to S61 mk3 a couple of weeks back. All the YouTube reviews were great and when the S61 mk3 works, it's fantastic - lovely screen. It wasn't until I started having drop out issues that I checked the forums and noticed Mk3 with Mac required USB hub among a plethora of other issues - but hoping NI fixes these issues with firmware update and no physical hardware changes required.

Was a bit disappointed at first about lack of Maschine support but now see the benefits of using Kontrol plugin in my DAW of preference rather than using Maschine as a plugin in Live.

To the matter at hand. I love my Arturia synths and Maschine still has fantastic Arturia support. I can view all the synths in the browser and preview presets but for the life of me, can't figure out how to get the same browser support in Komplete Kontrol (stand alone nor VST version).

I reinstalled Arturia collection to no avail. I had the same issue with my Uh-he plugins but downloaded latest installers and had them back in no-time. What am I doing wrong? I've searched the forum but please direct me to link if this is old news. Hoping this is an easy fix! Thanks all.

    Got it!

In case this helps someone else in the future... Mac Studio, M1, Ventura

Things that didn't work for me:

    * Rescan plug-ins in KK (vsts were being picked up but not visible in browser)

    * Updating Arturia Plugins via Arturia Software Center

    * Reinstalling Arturia plugins without Uninstalling them first (see attachment)

    What worked for me:

    * Uninstall all Arturia Plugins (Instruments + Effects) via Arturia Software Center, then installing them again

I did not uninstall / reinstall Arturia Software Center - just the plugins

Thank you @BIF and @mykejb. Just knowing Arturia worked for you in KK gave me enough hope to keep trying. So much has changed in KK 3; it's hard to know right now which issues are fixable by us as consumers vs legit software issue for NI developers to solve.

I have posted the fix a few times here. The problem is the Arturia software centre does ‘silent installs’ and if when you first installed the plugins custom options to install third party resources was not selected it uses that as the default option for all subsequent installs

So deselect silent installs in options, restart ASC, run 1 installer and select the third party content, then select silent again, restart ASC again, and allow them all to reinstall

What are you missing? Do you see the Arturia presets in the browser? I have the V9 collection and they all appear OK in Windows. Maybe a Mac problem?

Another Arturia V9 user here. I have not seen any issues in Windows. My Mac isn't hooked up just now, so I can't verify on that one.

Maybe the OP can tell us when this happens with Arturia...for example, are you running KK in standalone? Or are you running it as a plugin? If yes, what are you running inside of? Also, what version of Windows, how much memory?

    Thanks in advance.

    Wow, you all respond quickly.

I am on a Mac Studio with M1 chip. I do not see browser for Arturia Effects nor Instruments in either KK standalone or KK vst (seems they both do their own vst cataloging now). I can use Arturia VSTs in KK but I have to manually select them from Instruments / Effects VST dropdown in KK on the computer. Not on my device. I am able to modify controls on physical KK keyboard but cannot cycle between presets as they do not show up in browser.

Again, all Arturia plugins show up and work as expected in Maschine software (and device).

I reinstalled all Arturia products yesterday but will attempt to uninstall and reinstall.

Good to know that Arturia Collection V9 is working for you all though - even if on different OS - so there is hope!

What version of KK are you using when you have the missing plugins? I'm just trying to be sure I understand it.

Latest KK 3.0.2 with the S61 MK3 (latest firmware).

KK is definitely picking up my Arturia VSTs. I see them in Edit -> Preferences -> Plug-ins (VST3 versions) and again, I can manually add them as instruments but not seeing them in browser (hence, no presets).

Hmmmm, ya got me. And I'm not ready to go through all this with my Mac. Maybe after the US Thanksgiving holiday...

Hopefully somebody else here will have some ideas for you.

    I wish you luck.

Thank you for the reiteration of this. I'll have to drop an anchor here so that when I have the problem, I'll know I need to come back to THIS fishin' spot.
