Actually, this is Maschine 2, it is compatible but you have to enable it in the preferences section (duh).
Thanks for your response, though.

I See what you mean. Wish I would have done better research before I purchased it, but I just assumed it would be supported. Thanks for the reply!

Though correct then people are not exact ! : Quote (Does Kontrol S-Series MK3 Integrate with Maschine? ) : "We are investigating opportunities to extend this over time as we evaluate overall improvements to the product experience that benefit the majority of customers."

I feel completely let down by the purchase of the mk3, as it lacks integration with maschine. The m32 I bought earlier, which was the cheapest option, is capable of everything, unlike the new one that is simply a useless brick on my desk. It’s just a joke. What I mean is using the keyboard to navigate the browser, select instruments, and adjust parameters. It’s a simple concept.
I’m strongly considering getting rid of all my NI hardware and software because this company doesn’t value user feedback.

Perhaps read what the product can and cannot do, before spending considerable amount of money blindly. It was announced everywhere, including YouTube reviews, that Mk3 has no Maschine integration anymore.

To be fair tho, if anyone has been eyeing off a KK keyboard at all for the last 10 years and they knew it had Maschine integration, I wouldn't be blaming the user who assumes the company releasing a new version would still have integration with their own product. Typically I dont research something that I know has integration to find out if it "still exists", you kind of assume at the VERY least that is something that would exist. Rightly or wrongly, unless NI plaster a large public announcement that is easy to find, I personally would not blame a user for not knowing this point at all.

Only real way they do is if you constantly point things out, daily, until they get sick of hearing from you. Downside is you don't win friends and they label you as a raving lunatic no matter how civil you keep things but yeah, user feedback is certainly not a strong point.

OK, fair enough but if I am to spend upwards of £500 on something, I will ALWAYS research the product, including reading the manual. Saved me from many costly disappointments.
Maybe I’m over cautious… 🤣

Yeah I am the same, will always do my research and similarly will usually download manuals etc but I can totally understand how someone could easily make the mistake since if you go to youtube for instance you can find a heap of videos on how the MK1/MK2 integrates with Maschine and it kind of stands to reason that the MK3 will also be able to do the same, I mean usually when you release a new product it is improved and built upon what existed, but this MK3 release has really proven to fall from that expectation as it's built on statistics and not actual user consideration.
