Hi fellow Native Instrument users!
Just returned to the world of DJing after a 20-year absence, WOW, tech sure moved on! A pair of 1210s, a mixer and a big collection of vinyl, and you were set. Now it's all controllers, sync and key match! Not complaining, it all looks incredibly sexy and is sure to unlock boundless creativity.
So, I bought a second hand S4 mark II a couple of weeks ago and one Stanton STR8 150 mark I to get me started. Was searching for control vinyl and ended up finding a brand new, unboxed Traktor Scratch Mark II bundle, complete with A10, two vinyl and two CD time code discs, both unused. They wanted £35!!! Saaaay wha? I snatched it up, the two time code vinyls more than make up the price, the A10, CD's, all wires, etc, are just pure gravy!
My question then, is there any useful way to incorporate the A10 into my set? I have my eye on a pair of Stanton ST 150s to complement the STR8 150, and will probs grab a CDJ 1000 mark III.
Oh yeah, while cruising Vinted I also discovered someone selling a venerable set of Stanton SC System 3 for the ridiculous price of £10. He thought the system was broke as only the mixer lit up when plugged in. A simple google search showed that without the DaRouter software installed on your computer, that's exactly what would happen. Received the set, installed DaRouter and voilà, all works like a dream! Vinted, it'll make your studio toys grow for pennies!!! The S4 Mark II was only £115 from there.
Thanks in advance. 😁
