Komplete kontrol SS88 & Maschine mk3 - Logic Pro

Hi,

im looking for advice with setting up komplete kontrol SS88 & maschine mk 3 (hardware controllers) inside logic..

I’ve got them bith connected, I press record on maschine, I have to press record so it highlights then go to kontrol and hit play to record a sequence…I’d like to be able to control logic off both units…

is anyone else using this set up…how do I configure it!

my plan is to have my groups in machine set up as group 1 & 2 custom kicks group 2 custom snares, group 3 custom high hats ect…4 sampling ect! Then be able to play patterns straight into logic from the pads…

is this possible!

@deep c Sorry that I didn't see your post earlier. Did you manage to set up everything like you wanted? The Logic host integration of both the MK3 and the Komplete Kontrol keyboard should be automatic.

Make sure to give Full Disk Access to Logic, Komplete Kontrol and Maschine: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

To reset control surfaces preferences you can delete this file:

Mac HD/Users/UserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:

Now, the next time you open Logic you should get a prompt asking you if you want to connect the devices.

Hi Jeremy,

I managed to find a good template which works fine, my only problem now is when i'm using the hardware i can't move the play head using shift & rotating the 4d encoder! ive set the grid to 1/16 in the arrange & step (grid) i'm tring to copy & paste midi notes from bar 1 - bar 2..

Have you came acroos this issue befor ?
