Kontakt 6.7.1 freezes on Windows 10

Hi community,

My Kontakt is freezing (both standalone and plugin) when opening, it shows only a blank window and never responds.

I've already tried all suggestions here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004169849-KONTAKT-Crashes

And also the suggestions from support team:

Uninstalling SonarWorks software
Disabling Avast
Updating Visual C++ Redistributables

Nothing is working and I am not able to open any of my projects in Reaper because it crashes when loading Kontakt.

Please help me to get around this.

@samrods Hopefully my colleagues will get to the bottom of it. Sorry it took them a little while to get back to you, one of my colleagues got back to you today, you're in good hands. Of course if someone else can jump in for ideas or similar experiences and their solutions, that would be great!

Please try the following steps in order to repair the OS system:

Repair potential issues using scf /scannow
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e
Repair the .NET Framework
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
Reinstall the VC++ Installation
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
Make sure that Windows is updated to the latest version
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-windows-3c5ae7fc-9fb6-9af1-1984-b5e0412c556a

After that, please do the following:

1. Save the attached script to your desktop
2. Right click - > Run as Administrator
3. Choose the product which you want to uninstall
4. Start Native Access
