Simply press the right arrow at Sampling before recording. And select at Input Source External Mono. At Input simply turn to the left or right side and you will see that it becomes Stereo. You have to select the side where the sound comes from if that doesn't help just turn to the other side, e.g. In 1L or In 1R.
