Patches gone in Reaper

I don't know what happened, but suddenly all my Reaper tracks that used Komplete Kontrol have lost their Patch information! It still shows the right instrument, but the box shows a question mark instead of icon for the patch.

I believe it started after a normal update on the Native Access portal.

I tried opening the stand-alone app, rescanning all the plug-ins and files, unchecking the "Always Use Latest Version of NI Plug-ins" box, then rescanning in Reaper.

If I choose a new patch and save, when I re-open the file it keeps the right patch. So it works as expected with new changes.

But now I have a few dozen songs that have lost their patch information. Major bummer.

Any thoughts on what might be happening? Thanks in advance!

Reaper 6.73. Komplete Kontrol 2.8.1. Windows 11, Asus G15. Komplete Ultimate 13.

All software, drivers up to date.
