External SSD with Komplete Library stolen. How to reinstall library, not the applications?

Recently got my back pack stolen, which had my SSD, which again had all the library content for Komplete Ultimate 12 on it. The applications themselves are on my Mac HD, so only the actual sound libraries were on the external drive.

Now I've bought a new external SSD to run the content from, but I can't find a way to redownload the libraries from Native instruments..

Anyone able to help?

That is correct, unfortunately.

But you can pick away at it as time/patience allows.

Hello,

you open native access and set the new SSD as library path, then you have to reinstall all expansions and libraries. On windows you also would have to give the drive the same drive letter but you are on mac - so you maybe can get problems with projects looking for the old library path, you'll see. And i don't know what the setting on mac is that the system sees the new drive exactly like the old one, like with windows drive letter and path. Maybe @D-One can help with that aspect.

I’ve now tried reinstalling a couple of libraries, but after it downloads it fails to finish the install. Says something about XML-something.

Am waiting on NI-team to get back to me. I can’t afford a whole new license atm 😩

@Uwe303 tried updating to the latest OS for the macbook, but to no avail. Don’t think there should be anything wrong with the Samsung T7 SSD staright out of the box that I’m trying to install on

I would delete all your NI items with your OS add/remove app. Then point Native Access to your new content location. Everything you delete will then show as available to install in Native Access after refresh or restart.

i don’t think I can just delete Native Access, but have to delete every file and app, yeah?

What format is your external hard drive? It should be APFS: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
