Can Patterns be changed after they are arranged in Song Mode?

After I create a song by choosing patterns in Song mode, changes made to those patterns later are not reflected in Song mode. Is there a way to do this in real time? Or do I have to delete that pattern from the "Song" and replace it with the updated pattern?

Patterns can always be changed and the changes are reflected in all locations a Pattern is used.

Are you sure you’re not accidentally using Clips?
