Installing Kontakt Library fails with 450GB free

I have been trying to install the Kontakt library 2 all day. I have been deleting thousands of files off my drive. I know have 450Gb free, but MacOS says a it's 117GB free and the rest is purgeable. NI installer still says I need 45GB more space to install. But nothing I deleted makes a difference... NI installer won't work.

This is extremely frustrating. It should be made clear that you need much more space than what is actually required before paying for the product. Now that I have paid for it, I feel like I have to keep trying, but this is obviously my last purchase from NI.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
