(Mikro MK3) Midi mode issue - strange buzz/beeping sound when pressing pads

Hi guys - Just set up this sweet little guy but whenever I enter midi mode, all the pads turn yellow and then there's a... rough beeping sound that comes from each pad, and it changes chromatically.

I can still trigger the sounds in various DAWs, but the buzz/beep persists.

    Does that also happen in the Maschine software when you turn the Mikro to MIDI mode?

    What DAW are you using? To me, it sounds like there is a track in your project with an instrument, track where the Mikro MK3 is selected as input. Can you reproduce the issue in an empty project with just one instrument loaded?
