Komplete Kontrol & Maschine constantly scanning VSTs

Hello everyone!

Both Maschine and Komplete Kontrol software are scanning VSTs for 30 minutes esch time I open them. Afterwards in Logic they do not work. Any idea why this is happening?

So what do you mean in Logic "they do not work", how is it they don't work exactly?

The long scanning usually only happens after initial install or after a forced rescan but if it does not fully complete it will do it again.

If you launch Komplete Kontrol standalone and let it scan, does it complete fine? Are all your plugins listed and available? If you then close KK and launch it again does it now scan through faster or the same slow speed?

You can also try press ESC during the scan to cancel it.

I have noted I get a bit of a long scan when I have my Waves license USB connected, it causes KK to scan every waves plugin which is hundreds of them, every time. This does not happen if the license file is bound to the machine but I have to have it on USB to move between computers so I just unplug the USB when I use KK since I don't use effects.
