Assign Mod Wheel from NI Kontrol to any MIDI controller knob in Ableton?

I am trying to assign mod wheel control from NI Komplete Kontrol to a knob for use in live performances.

It seems that I am stuck trying to figure this out.

Is it possible to map mod wheel to any midi controller knob in Ableton Live? For example, Xone K2 or any other controller with assignable knobs.

It seems that Ableton config window sees the control when clicked on, but doesn't have anything assigned to it, it just shows "-" above the slider value.

Please help, I am stuck
