What is the latest mac os I can use for Traktor Pro Scratch 2?

I need to upgrade like 10 years ago. I cant seem to find out what os I can upgrade to for scratch 2 online. I am using the z2 and phase for vinyl control and a mid 2012 MacBook pro. Any advise on how to best upgrade would be appreciated. Maybe its just time to buy a new laptop? Any advice on which one, M1, M2 would be appreciated. Also would love to know if a Macbook Air can be used for scratch 2. Also if I get a new laptop will I need to upgrade to scratch pro 3? Thanks! i would make a backup first, scratch pro 2 works with rosetta as far as I know. If not you can still go back with your backup. The other questions i can't answer you I'm not a mac user myself.
