S2 MK3 move and loop encoders doesn't work on one side

Hi

I just bought a used TRAKTOR S2 MK3 and when I plugged it into TRAKTOR 3 PRO at home I noticed that I could not enter or exit a loop using the loop encounter and it's happening only on one of the sides.

I also tried to map those encounters but the software seems to not be getting any signal out of them when I push them. Turning works perfectly.

Then it is most likely defective. You could try to start the S2 in midi mode and use a program like midiox as midi monitor, then check if and what signal every knob and button sends.
