How do I connect Spiral to a synthesizer in Reaktor 6?
Pretty noob question and I was trying to avoid asking it by searching but the methods I found do not seem to work in this version. I found a video that said to save Spiral as an ism (which I did) but Reaktor is saying it's not a valid file when I try to add it to an ensemble. I'm working with Reaktor 6.4.3. I tried looking in the manual but didn't see anything (I MUST have overlooked it since something this basic would likely be in the manual).
Please help!

Hello,
https://youtu.be/xINRksSacUE maybe that video helps you, maybe you don't need the first step deleting the sequencer, but the rest is exactly the same for every instrument

Spiral sends MIDI data, so you connect it via property menus and MIDI I/O - in other words, no wires.
If you like Spiral, checkout Vortex in the User Library and other stuff that Catman Dude (RIP) and I made.
They will give you a good idea about how to connect things up.
Vortex is Spiral, but I made it smaller and it should be self-documented.

Blue Kryptonite
Red Kryptonite

I think the snapshots in Vortex are different than Spiral, and there are more features in Vortex and more snapshots.
I spent a lot of time fixing internal stuff and making things very clear (I hope!).
Catman Dude and I made a lot of snapshots for Vortex as well as the other instruments in the Blue/Red Kryptonite series.
I was going to make a Green Kryptonite with acoustic samples in Krypt, but that never happened.
The Kryptonites use 6 Vortex generators, but you can add more if you have enough resources in your system. Each uses a unique MIDI Out channel that is easily set on the front panel.
I made lots of color elements so you can change the color of each to make it easier to find in a complex ensemble.

This did help me, thank you. But what's weird is if I try to do the same thing with say Spiral and Carbon 2, it doesn't work. Even though I'm following the same steps. Are there certain synths that don't work with Spiral?
And thanks arachnaut I'll check those out!

We were working on the Krypt projects and he was having medical issues. He then, vanished, as you said. I emailed him several times with no reply.
I believe he died shortly after our work finished; otherwise he always responded to my mail. So sad.
I also have medical issues, but I'm hanging in there.
