Traktor S4 MK2 Cannot Finely Adjust BPM

Just picked up a Traktor S4MK2 upgrading my Traktor S2Mk1 and I'm noticing when I'm using the pitch faders the BPM gets adjusted by increments of 0.03 even with my tempo range set to 6%. I've right clicked the +/- and even set it to fine adjust and when I press the +/- buttons with my cursor on my laptop it will adjust the bpm by 0.01, but when I use the Traktor S3MK2 pitch faders it adjusts by random increments but usually by 0.03.

When I was using my S2MK1 with Traktor 2 I never had this issue. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing here? The only other thing that's changed has been my laptop as I got a new macbook pro powered by their M1 chip (not sure if that's the cause as I know there were reported issues early on when apple started making their own chips). I don't like relying on SYNC and I guess it's mainly the OCD in me that this annoying quirk has been found on my end.

you could use a mapping from DJ Techtools, like this one, it has inc/dec in steps of 0,01 DJ TechTools - DJTT Kontrol S4 MK2 Custom Mapping

I think you can change the pitch range to 4% in traktor. That should help.
