Maschine+ won't read SD card

I recently purchased a maschine+ and for whatever reason, it just won't read the sd card, which has other wav files and sound packs but all are wav files. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried to reset and register but it just won't read the sd card. Is there a certain speed or type of mini SD I need? any info would be great.

Second, you may need to format the card in Maschine first to use it. I do not think Maschine is designed to simply read anything from any SD card as it reads from the manual to use a USB cable from your PC to transfer files to the card so seems it possibly uses a dedicated card.

Prob a good idea to thumb the manual open as there is info there
