Recently Purchased a TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3, audio into speakers and headphones starts then drops

When I go to play tracks the audio coming out of the Kontroler into my stereo speakers and headphones starts to play and then drops off. I cannot find answers anywhere. Below are my settings. The headphones vol and aux nobs are also greyed out so I cannot turn the volume up or down.

When you use the soundcard of the S2 the software knobs automatically deactivate. You have to use the hardware knobs on the s2 (and the audio output) for adjusting monitor volume and mix.

there are no hardware nobs on the S2 MK3

Have a look at the top plate, center row, between the equalizer knobs:

1. Master Volume,
2. Sample Volume,
3. Cue Mix,
4. Cue Volume.
