Updated Maschine 3 and now vst doesn't show up in Live

All I did was update from an earlier version of Maschine 3 via Native Access. I didn't change my plugin folder, didn't move any files, nothing. maschine 3.vst is in the right folder, but it doesn't show up in Live- only my old Maschine 2 vst. I rescanned, reinstalled… nothing. Standalone Maschine 3 works just fine. What the hell?

I dragged the vst out of my plugin folder, scanned plugins in Live, dropped it back in, then scanned again. Live scanned it- check out attached screencap. But I still can't find it in Live's browser! And the instance I have saved in my defaut.als still says plugin not found. I'm… not sure what to do here.

Are you sure Ableton has "use VST3 plugins" enabled in the options. Could it have been reset somehow?

I checked Live Suite 12 here earlier and was able to see & use Maschine 3 VST without issue - but I'm on Windows.

Try to Hold ⌥ Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) while clicking the Rescan button in the Plug-Ins preferences tab. This is full rescan.

Well… Maschine 3 do not deliver VST2 (maschine.vst), maybe thats the point here.
