TL;DR: Haptic feedback not working, I don't think. How do I address?
Hello.
New to the S4 MK3 and still trying to get used to it after being out of the DJ game for fifteen years (was spinning on Denon DN-S1200 that when they got hot would lose their sync and also had Technics MK3s that were the shiz) … love the S4 MK3 and so happy I ended up picking it over the cheaper Hercules I was originally going to use to get my feet wet.
Anyway, most things are working great on it but I can't make sense of one thing:
Haptic feedback on the jog wheels
Like, I don't feel anything with them at all … no matter whether I set it to none, course, or fine, when I turn the jog wheels, they just turn.
Maybe I have the wrong idea about what it is and if that's the case, maybe someone can enlighten me?
Seems to be the case whether on TT or JOG … the wheel just turns. I can adjust the intensity of TT mode just fine but it seems that whatever "haptic feedback" is, I can't make sense of it.
Please help!
Ancillary question: what type of drive is the S4 MK3? Assuming not belt … but also not sure if "direct drive" even applies to it.
THANKS, NI COMMUNITY.
