why am I getting high loading surges and overloads on my CPU

I'm in logic 11.2.. Im getting large surges to my CPU when loading and using NI instruments and Audio units. also I'm getting system overload in projects where I use a few or more NI sounds. the project will overload then after I clear the overload message it'll play, but I still get heavy [initial] surges when working in NI tracks.. I've tried all buffer sizes with the same results. also, I have this same exact setup in my 2015 MacBook Pro i7 quad core 16gb and this doesn't happen at all. I've run projects in my M2 pro with just logic sounds, and just my other 3rd party sounds and this doesn't happen. any idea what could be causing this?

@chr9090 Which NI Plug-ins? Kontakt libraries? Komplete Kontrol? What are your audio settings in Logic? Do you witness performance issues in Kontakt and other NI apps in standalone as well?

Do your NI apps and Logic have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Also worth noting that if you open projects made on an Intel machine on a Silicon one, you'll need to run Logic in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta

and lastly, if it's happening with Kontakt libraries, are your libraries installed on an external hard drive? What isd the format of the drive? On Mac it should be APFS: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
