(Note: This question possibly applies to any Session Guitarist library, not necessarily just the one I'm using.)
I'm using a 2-bar pattern for my chorus, but my chorus is 15 bars long, instead of 16 bars. So, the next time the chorus rolls around, Session Guitarist starts playing the 2-bar pattern halfway through, which totally changes the groove.
(It seems the engine assumes you're always starting playback on an odd-numbered bar, which is a ridiculous limitation in the programming.)
QUESTION: Is there a way to force Session Guitarist libraries (I'm using Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe) to always start playback at the beginning of a pattern, irrespective of playback starting on an odd or even bar?
EDIT: For now, I've duplicated the instrument, and in the second instance, I've shifted the entire pattern by 16 increments. Then I'm using this instance for the second chorus. But it's going to be cumbersome to have to do this for every pattern that I ultimately use in the song.
So, QUESTION: Is there an easier, more elegant way to handle this?
