Why am I hearing a Hotcue/music through a closed fader?

Hi, I'm new to Traktor, I've moved over from rekordbox and I'm having a few issues. Would anyone be able to help please?

So basically after mixing a track in, if I press the Hotcue on the track that I'm done with (but it's still playing) it comes through the speakers with the channel fader down on the mixer (A+H PX5). If I then press play/stop on that track, and then the Hotcue, it doesn't. Which I find odd, because if the mixer channel is closed. Then nothing should come through.

I'm sure it's a box that's checked / not checked. I've taken a video but file size limit on here is stopping me from uploading.

That is odd, traktor just sends the music to the mixer. It does not even knew if the fader is up or not.

Can you share a screenshot of your output routing settings?

So the first picture is the plug and play routing. The second is what I've configured this morning.

With the second routing, the issue seems to have gone away. The only difference I can think of is, on Ch1 of the mixer I am using a turntable so it is selected to Phono. Again, that shouldn't make any difference as I should be able to swap between Phono and USB at anytime.

I can play around with the routing some more and find out if that is the issue.

Yeah, both look fine. Just wanted to make sure "External routing" was selected. Looks good.

Does this only happen with hot cues? I mean if you just play a song with channel faders down, do you still hear anything through master?

I somehow have the feeling you are listing to cue on the mixer or something like that.

Or send/return was turned on on the channel.

It only happened with the hot cue. With the fader down, no sound was heard on that channel until I pressed the hot cue.

It's a shame I cannot upload the video.
