How can i Update Maschine+ to 3.3.1?
Native Access dont have a new Update.
Over Wifi and Update the Screen says "Your-Maschine-is-Up-to-Date".
I have now Software Version 2.19.. on M+
Firmware 0.19… on M+
Desktop Version: Maschine 2
thanks for help
I'm not certain of this but I think you have to buy a version 3 desktop license before you can access the Maschine+ update.
Hopefully others who are more certain can confirm or refute this.
Yes, as stated in Jeremy's announcement, you need a Maschine 3 license to use Maschine 3.
In case you will buy Maschine 3, the update is done through “Settings/System”.
Updating the system to 2.0.0 also installs Maschine 3
Okay. Are there any advantages to also purchasing the Maschine Central Library? I only use Maschine+, not the software? The upgrade costs 27 without the Central Library... with about 70.
They said Maschine Central contains some “acoustic” instruments that are missing in M+ (like several pianos, if I recall correctly). It contains 144 instruments (maybe the most interesting aspect about it for M+, even more than the kits)
That said, you can also feed M+ with the instruments that are missing and you need using Autosampler.
But I’ve seen something “strange” today: I was checking the expansions on my M+ and noticed Maschine Central is 3.6 Gb, while on desktop it is almost 9 Gb… stripped down version?
In any case, if you are not 100% sure you need it, buying now only M3 update and eventually later Maschine Central will cost you only 10 bucks more… so… you could wait and see
I have now the Update on M+. But Stem wont work in Standalone. On Software and in Controller-Mode work it. Anyone has an Idea why?
It has been listed in the announcements, where they say “While it’s high on our list, Stem Separation isn’t included in this release.”
I suppose it wasn’t so easy to implement (M+ isn’t very powerful) and they didn’t want to ulteriorly postpone the release, since it already took them so long.
Now… if the question is “how long will it take, since it is high on their list?”… I would just say “don’t hold your breath with NI”…
