Dual Deck Mode?

I’m away from my S4 mk3, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to have a mapping such that one jogwheel controls 2 decks (ie. scratch with left jog and decks 1 and 3 are being manipulated simultaneously). This would be similar to Serato’s dual deck mode that works with certain Pioneer controllers.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes. You would have to modify the qml code of the deck mapping. Right now the deck buttons set either one of the decks to 'active'. You could have both active at the same time, but it might lead to problems (TT mode in particular). I never tried so i don't know the limits of the conflicts or if it might lead to real hardware troubles with the EM field getting conflicting or potentially damaging instructions. Duplicate turn tick counting, scratching and touch-hold functions should work though. What do you want to achieve?

Thanks for the reply and glad to know it’s a qml edit. My typical use case would be:

Have a mashup playing on decks 1 and 3
The track I’m transitioning into is playing on deck 2
I may want to close out the transition by scratching out or back spinning out the mashup playing on decks 1 and 3

This would primarily be for scratching multiple decks at once. I can think of other uses, but that would be the core thing
