I bought my keyboard at Guitar Center and they don't service it. I contacted two highly regarded shops that repair all manner of synths and keyboards and neither one repairs NI products. It is long out of warranty.
Thanks for your help!
We have our own repair service in the US, please get in touch with our hardware support here: https://bit.ly/NI_Support_All
I think that problem is that it mostly is too expensive to get midi-controller keyboards repaired , too expensive compared to new price. And even getting a price quote can cost you , I dunno $ 100 - $ 200 , and then because repairs are too expensive then most people will not want to have the repairs done anyway so most shops professional enough to do the repairs probably will not bother in the first place to even take a look…
You can most likely get N.I. hardware service to give you a repair quote (you will have to send the keyboard for repair) if you ask N.I. Support(all) , but from what I know then that is usually too costly also , not to mention shipping costs on top.

What is the issue with it and what specific model?
Fixing it It's not expensive compared to throwing it away. Doing the service for a hundred bucks and change and then selling it, makes good sense. This is an MK2.
I know what the problem is and based on watching YouTube videos, I could easily fix it myself—if it wasn't so difficult getting the cover off. I don't feel comfortable removing all the cables, etc., while doing that.
The good news is that I have found an excellent repair person who works at a place that first turned me down. He is so good at his job that he is way backed up. It will take a month for him to get to it, but that's not an issue because I bought an MK3. I think he agreed because I was so clear about what needed to be done.
Once he's fixed it, it will be good as new, and I'll sell it.
If anybody is reading this from NI, I think it would be a nice thing to list service centers on the site.
Thanks for your help, everybody!
