Hello,
I recently bought this laptop:
Model: Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1; model number: 83DK002JGE
Operating system: Win 11 Home; Traktor 4 (updated to date)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8640HS processor
RAM: 16 GB LPDDR5X (6400 MHz)
Storage: 512 GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD
Everything runs smoothly in my test environment. However, when I DJ onsite at events for several hours at a time, I experience (usually) later in the set some very(!) annoying music interruptions. These only last half a second and happen 3-4 time per 7 hour set.
Traktor stutters every now and then, but at least in these cases the music usually continues to play without interruption.
In my case, however, the music just stops for ~0.5 seconds. This is really noticeable because it's just enough to throw people on the dance floor off beat. It's really, really annoying, frustrating and to a certain extent, it's also really embarrassing. (Not as embarrassing as not being able to stream music from a popular streaming service, but that's another topic.)
What can I do? Does anyone else have a similar problem?
Is it because of the Ryzen CPU?
(And if so: Why is there no warning anywhere about that?)
