Hello. Need your help. I have an old Traktor Kontrol S4 MK1. I worked for the last time a couple of years ago, everything was fine. Now, like many people, after a couple of years I can’t connect it to the new system. I read all the troubleshooting, but it still doesn’t work. What exactly did I do?
- First installed native access
- Installed Traktor Pro 2 from it
- Connected Traktor S4 (the system automatically configures it, but incorrectly)
- Installed the driver, downloaded it from the site (as written in troubleshooting)
- In the device manager there is a triangle on the hardware icon, clicked update the driver and found it on the disk (namely MK1). Everything was installed correctly and the system reported this.
- The connection icon in the center of my equipment stopped blinking and began to light constantly.
- I launched Traktor Pro 2, it sees the connected Traktor S4 and you can even turn on the sound through it (which means that everything seems to be working fine). But I can't control anything. Usually, after proper connection, all the lights light up, but here only the connection icon is constantly on.
It looks like I did everything right, but it's like I forgot something.
I bought a new USB cable, tried it on a laptop and a desktop computer, the result was the same.
At the end of the troubleshooting it says that NIHostIntegrationAgent and NIHardwareService services should be running, but I don’t have them (completely, not just disabled). Perhaps this is why something goes wrong. I will be glad to see your advice. Thank you all in advance
