Streaming on YouTube, Twitch, VR-Chat, using a Mac mini M4, OBS - sunflower is not working

hi all,

I want to use my new Mac mini M4 in combination with my S4MK3 for streaming on several platforms like YouTube etc..

I used the tutorial as described on the following page:

I have scenario C and the following issues:

sunflower is not able to get installed on my Mac. It seems that the further support for this tool but is there a way to get this installed in any way or does anyone of you have a similar experience and maybe a solution?

Hello,

i´m not a mac user myself but i often read here about black hole audio driver or something like that being used, maybe that´s an alternative.

Soundflower was never ported to Apple Silicon. Therefore it doesn‘t work on Macs with M chips.

I use Loopback from Rogue Amoeba but it isn‘t free. But offers more options as other virtual audio solitions for macOS.

What I did on my s4 mk3 was use a cable from booth out to a line in on the same device. I called it the incest cable.

But yeah, a software solution that just works™️would be preferred. Sad that Traktor can't send master to a second device like so many other DJ software.

You could also see if there now is a solution within OBS that would allow you just to capture master and not cue, without 3rd party software or cables. It constantly getting updates and new addons.
