Can apple Music integration now be reconsidered as it is now on all other major platforms?

Keep calm. It may comes or may not. Those who know for sure won‘t tell us because they had to sign a NDA.

If it comes I won‘t expect this in a few weeks.

Apple Music have just announced new features and the most important is the integration with DJ software like Rekordbox, Denon, Algoriddim and Serato, but no clue of Traktor.

This is a huge disadvantage against other software for Apple Music users, so it is planned to update the software to integrate it with Apple Music?

Tell us you don't use Apple Music, without telling us you don't use Apple Music

Tried Mixo a few times, but it's just full of bugs and would never sync my library without issues.

New hot cue snap to grid on the latest beta is great.
    Tags are awesome

The 'Incoming Tracks' feature is a total dream that I wish I had 10 years ago and saves me SO much time.

'Discover new tracks' and bouncing to a Spotify playlist is also a really nice tough for finding tracks you wouldn't be able to normally.
Writing tags to files is dead useful.
I can manage my library in one place and then export to Traktor or Serato.

Apple Music has existing issues with putting your library anywhere but your C drive.

Regardless of whether you want it or not, whether you think it is a good idea or not, the bigger issue is that the media announcement was about ‘Apple Music coming to all major DJ platforms’…. i.e. Traktor not included as a ‘peer’ alongside Rekordbox, Serato and Engine OS.

I think that is by far the more worrying concern here…. that the lack of investment in the Traktor brand and ecosystem, the slow software release cycles and even slower trickle of incremental hardware releases mean that our beloved Traktor platform is losing relevance; it’s not even seen as ‘one of the major platforms’ from arguably the biggest company in music these days (certainly the one with the largest market capitalisation anyway).

I’m hanging in there, but for god’s sake NI—your loyal fans are dying for a glimmer of hope…

Okay, thanks for your answer and your assessment. Unfortunately, Mixo is sometimes quite prone to bugs, but the support is great, and if you submit a bug report properly, there's a pretty good chance it will be fixed with the next release.

But maybe I'll try the free version of Lexicon one of these days and see if it's worth it. Thanks for the link to the video.

We'll see how things go with Apple Music. Since I don't have any problems with the Apple universe at the moment and would probably sync my stuff via iCloud anyway, that would at least be worth a try.

Community Post: Apple Music Integration in Traktor

    Hey Traktor community! 🎧

I wanted to start a conversation about something that’s been on my mind for a while now – the integration of Apple Music for DJs using Traktor. As many of you probably know, several other DJ software platforms have already added support for Apple Music, making it easier for DJs to integrate their libraries directly and seamlessly into their sets.

However, Traktor users are still left wondering why this hasn’t been offered yet. Is there a reason for the delay? Is there something preventing this from happening on our beloved Traktor software?

And for those of us who have made Traktor our go-to tool for performance, I think many would love to know if there are any plans to eventually roll out Apple Music integration for us as well. This would open up a whole new world of possibilities for accessing and mixing tracks directly from Apple’s massive music catalog.

Would love to hear your thoughts and any official updates from the Native Instruments team on this. Let’s keep the conversation going! 🎶

It was recently announced that Apple is allowing Apple Music streaming to work with many DJ software systems. And I'm hoping that NI will join the club.

"The feature is integrated with DJ software and hardware platforms AlphaTheta, Serato and InMusic’s Engine DJ, Denon DJ, Numark, and Rane DJ. It builds on an integration with Algoriddim's Djay Pro software."

Hoping it will happen with Traktor.

Same here. I did read the news from apple some days ago. Is it on NIs roadmap now to support Apple Music within Traktor Pro?
