xdj 1000 mk2

if i have a xdj 1000 mk2 and in set it up with traktor which i did laready there is no way of saving the settings right once u take out tthe cable of the computer it won't work with traktor right

    For standalone mode to work you need to plug in a USB stick, best one that got prepped by rekordbox export. If you just plug in a USB key with just unprepared mp3 files you will miss some things. I think it's key, maybe bpm and definitely the detailed waveform.

    If you use the xdj in HID mode with Rekordbox (or traktor) and you YANK that cable out, it definitely will stop working.

    Which setting are you referring to?

    Like live mixer settings?

    i was talking of the xdj 1000 and traktor you would need to use a laptop it's not like the xdj 1000 and rekorbox which you don't need a laptop with rekordbox
