iPad Pro on Deck C or D. What adapter can you recommend?
Hey,
I like to connect my iPad Pro (3. gen) with USB C to my S4 MK2 on Deck C or D with chinch. What adapter incl. charging the battery would / can you recommend?
Thx BigB

Not sure what you mean by chinch, but you probably want a USB-C hub with PD, into which to plug your S4 then further into the iPad. Most cheapo Amazon ones will probably suffice and you can plug either a USB-C power adapter or any powerful enough battery pack, such as a Mophie Powerstation, through the hub's power input to run the whole deal.
Old forum had a thread on this very topic:

Thx Telly, Chinch is RCA in English i think.I dont want to use the Traktor App on the iPad ( i run Traktor on a MacBook Pro). I want to use the iPad as a Music resource like a turntable or CD in the Input of deck C or D. My old iPad was connected from the headphone Output to the RCA (chinch red and white) on Deck c and it works fine. Now the new iPad has only USB C Output. How can I get my old status with that? What Adapter would be a solution? If possible with power supply. THX

You will need an iOS compatible audio interface that has at least 2 stereo outputs for your iPad.
It would be a good idea to get this also https://www.google.ca/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiBseCp3Nb1AhUoGK0GHSmjCq8YABANGgJwdg&ae=2&sig=AOD64_2DY0jGwlo6HibHSuHodVilYJP1OA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjCr9ap3Nb1AhW0IzQIHRptCgQQwg96BAgBECA&adurl=

THX i Need the red and white RCA/chinch on one side… so the amazon thing would not work. On the picture you will find my old solution and this works fine. I thought the small adapter can help … but no sound with it. This i will try now … https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08519D4R4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AXZ3JQ1GVFPIF&psc=1

Do you have a genuine Apple USB-C adapter?
Most 3rd party adapters simply do not work for audio. It's always better to buy an Apple adapter.
This should be easily achievable if your adapter and RCA/cinch cable works and is good quality.
Have you tested the adapter with some headphones to make sure it works?
Are you setting your Deck C to Live Input?
Also, you cannot charge the iPad through an RCA cable. You would need to connect the iPad to the S4MK2 with a USB-C to USB-B cable.

Does the Amazon audio/charge adapter work? I don't know that adapter.
Yeah, that's the Apple adapter I mentioned but it won't charge the iPad.
Is it really bad quality? I have one for my headphones and it seems fine.

Yes … there crackling noises when i move the iPad. The Amazon ugreen adapter i would buy today and test it.
