maschine mk3 midi mode

Aloha everyone

I moved to a new pc with windows 11 and cant get maschine to go into midi mode without opening the controller editor first.

I had no issues on windows 10, i could just press 'shift-midi' and it would go into midi mode.

Anybody has any tips for me?

Mucho appreciate it!

Ps: all drivers installed, reinstalled without maschine connected , tried chat gpt, tried this tried that.
