Traktor Pro 4 not detecting Traktor Kontrol S4

Hi I have an old Traktor Kontrol S4 which I wanted to start using so i downloaded the demo version of Traktor Pro 4 just to see if things work.

Unfortunately its not detecting the Kontrol S4 and whenever i try to update drivers from NI, it gives my an installation error. Seems like the USB is being identified by the MAC so not sure what the issue is.

Anyone faced similar issues? I dont want to end up buying new hardware!

    @himssb Sounds like you are using a S4 Mk1. This device was last supported on macOS 10.11 High Sierra. There aren't any drivers officially compatible with newer macOS versions. Especially on Macs with Apples own chips (M1 to M4) there is no known way of getting these old devices running anymore.

    If you have a Mk2 or Mk3 it should run on without drivers as these devices are class compliant and therefore run on general drivers delivered by macOS itself.
