Just bought a used Maschine MK3 from Guitar Center

I just bought a used Maschine MK3 from Guitar Center in Fort Collins, CO a couple of hours ago and I can't activate it. I have put in a chat request but is there anything else I can do? I didn't know re-registration would be such an issue.

    Previous user should have asked for a License Transfer and provide the new serial that NI would have sent him.

    If that didn’t happen, wait for support to answer you and explain the situation

    Yeah they didn't do the license transfer/removal, etc. When I tried to input it into Native Access it said it was registered already.

    IMO Guitar Center are (or should be) responsible just as much as the previous owner…

    Before accepting the products they should be checking with the seller and insisting on the relevant information. Posts like this are far too common.

    I definitely agree. NI reached out at 3am this morning asking for proof of purchase and hardware sn. I provided all of the information so I'll give it another day or so. If it's not resolved, I'll return it to GC and grab something else.
