Prism FX receiving input but not producing output

Hi, I'm on Logic Pro X 10.7.5. I set up the Prism FX as recommended and set the side chain to a source track. Prism FX shows that it is receiving input as expected but that input doesn't seem to be going through Prism FX. I only get output if I turn the mix knob down so dry input is making it to the output. What am I missing. Thank you.

    I figured it out. Prism FX seems to want a certain kind of input. synth notes didn't seem to work most of the time but drum hits did. I'll have to mess to see If I can get the right input envelope.
