Collecction Items show Multiple times in the Browser Tree

Hello all,

Good chance that this has been asked before, I've searched but couldn't find it:

I'm running Traktor 4.1.1 23 on a Mac Pro, M4 chip, Sequoia 15.3.1

When I expand the " Music" section in the browser tree to look at my Music (formerly known as iTunes) playlists, A number of playlist folders are shown multiple times (see screenshot) most of them with different content. Is this a known isssue? Is there a fix

Many thanks in advance

The playlist names are pulled from iTunes/Music library XML. Are you certain they don't exist in the XML file you exported? Don't forget that with Music you now need to export the XML again if you change anything as it's not automatic any more.

Thanks. I thought (wrongly I guess) that Traktor 4 was able to read the Music Library directly. At least it threw no error messages other than messing the folders up as described in my question. Exporting the XML and pointing Traktor to the XML has fixed the issue. In my opinion there is still a bug reading the Music app library directly, but at least I have a viable workaround now. Thanks again

Hmm .. ok, so it looks like TP4 can read the library directly now! That's my "learned something new today" moment, thank you :) Anyways, I did a few tests and it looks like if you have multiple playlists with the same name in Music when they're imported to Traktor it appends (2), (3) etc to the duplicates. That might be where your additional names are coming from.

It seems to be more complicated than that. I have just done the following:
    - renamed my playlist folder "Soul" to Soul001
    - removed the check from " use legacy iTunes XML etc."
    - Refreshed Playlists from Music App in Traktor. Results below. The folder 300 genres/Soul doesn't exist anymore in the Music App, yet it shows in Traktor.
