any idea why i don't ha
ve my s3 kontrol mappings?
This is the correct mapping (empty). All assignments are internally mapped in code. You can find the files in the qml folder, most of them in CSI/S3. The 'empty' mapping you see has a non visible reference to the objects in the code and merely provides a surface for users to overmap custom functions, overriding the qml assignments.
For more information, check out the mapping sections. There are also a few links for custom qml mods in my signature.
Make sure that you only have a single S3 mapping in the dropdown menu, otherwise you have duplicate functions, which will negate all ON/OFF toggle buttons like PLAY, SYNC etc. by sending both ON and OFF signals at the same time.
This function changes when you add something to the mapping.
Hi everyone,
I just got my Traktor Kontrol S3, downloaded Traktor Pro 3, and expected everything to be set up out of the box. However, right now, only a few buttons and the main sliders are working, and it seems to be using the Scratch 2 default mapping. As you can see in the picture, no other settings appear to be there.
Has anyone experienced this issue? How can I load or restore the correct mapping for the S3?
Thanks in advance!
does anyone know where to find a list of the factory assignments … the "native" mapping for the S3 with Traktor Pro 4?
The answer is in the post above:
For windows, the files can be found in '…\Traktor Pro 4\Resources64\qml\…'
In the subfolder CSI\S3 are most of the S3 command templates. Look for the Wire commands that connect hardware controls to software properties.
The browser commands are in the common section (for S2/S3/S4 together).
