Kontakt - I'm sure this question has come up many times and various answers given too! How do you loop a sample accross the key range without the sample speeding up or slowing down as you play up or down the octave ranges? So I have a 6 sec sample created in my DAW at 120bpm on C3 (Middle C) and bounced down to audio. Then I edit the samples beginning and end points so that no clicks are heard at either the beginning or the end of the sample. I then move the sample into Kontakt's mapping editor and place the sample on note C3. In the wave editor, I define the required start and end of the loop, using the crossfade function. When I'm happy with the loop, I go back to the keyboard in Kontakt to map the sample accross the entire or some of the key range. Now my sample is speeding up as I play above the octave and slowing down as I play down the octave. How can I get the sample to play evenly as it should sound accross the entire key range without the speed variations?
