TP4 can't connect 3x D2??

in Traktor Software & Hardware

Had this setup in on TP3 but failed to import my settings.. not sure that would have worked anyways.

I've already looked at this post but it did not resolve my issue

So far all I can do is use a two deck setup with the AC/BD functionality.

    Open 'Preferences'.

    Go to 'Controller Manager' page.

    At the top is the 'Device' dropdown menu, listing all your mappings. There should already be two D2 mappings in the list, the maximum that is added to the list automatically by Traktor when connecting two or more D2's.

    Right below it is a button called 'Add..'. Press the button and navigate to the D2 mapping. Select it to add a third mapping (or more of them, if your dropdown does not already contain two).

    Did you load the three necessary d2 mapping files manually?

    Can you tell me what mappings? I've never had to manually input mappings for my 3 D2s

    bruh … that was all I needed to do was add that 3rd D2. I don't ever recall needing to do that for TP3 but whatever.. thx for help! Sending you a cup a' coffee. Cheers

    On a side note...

    Have you seen any screen mods for TP4? I got some from GitHub years ago I really liked but none of those seem to be updated. Thoughts?

    Supreme Edition Mod is the most comprehensive. I use a heavily modified variant on TP3.4.2 so i am not up to date on Aleix's updates. I assume his mod has only gotten better in the meantime so i think i can recommend at least trying it. It's focus is on S8 and D2 improvements. It's really big and has a LOT of custom toggles (including a separate screen menu to customize all the options) so it can be a bit of work to get started.

    h@llo everyone, all 4x D2 work perfectly in Traktor 4, unfortunately I have to repeat the connection process again and again, and it's not nice to have a USB sausage connected to my laptop because the internal HUB of the D2 doesn't serve the purpose - as was intended when it was manufactured! USB 1+2 - etc., it would also be cool to transfer the colors from Traktor 4 to the display, why doesn't anyone from Native take care of it anymore...unfortunately I can't get any spare parts for the D2 either, what a pity...

    Hello Gerry,

    Yes to all. You can look around for qml screen mods to buff up your D2 screen experience (somewhere in this forum). NI only intended for 2 D2's to be used at the same time and so made no provisions for use of 3 or more.
