Inquiry Regarding the Komplete 11 Upgrade Version

I purchased the Komplete Kontrol 61-key hardware and the Komplete 11 upgrade version from Ringo Shop in Korea in 2018. After that, I went through an extremely difficult time, including the passing of my father, which made it impossible for me to balance my job and my music activities.

Now, in January 2025, I am trying to install the NI products I purchased in 2018 on my newly acquired M4 Pro Mac Mini, but I am experiencing difficulties with the installation. If anyone can provide assistance regarding this issue, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Hey @John Kim Komplete 11 has still a lot of current products, you only need Kontakt Player for NI Kontakt libraries so you can use Kontakt 7 or 8 Player without a problem.

Ti install your products, simply download Native Access, log-in to your account and you can download and install your products: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Sorry to hear about your loss. My sincere condolences to you.

Since 2018, a lot has changed for both Mac users and software developers. For instance: Apple introduced Apple Silicon to get rid of Intel processors in their product lines. Companies selling software - like Native Instruments - had to eventually adapt to this new tech.

Since Komplete 11 was released in 2016 (years before all this happened) and is considered discontinued software ever since Komplete 12 came out in late 2018, it was never tested on Apple Silicon, let alone on newer macOS versions.

You might want to consider updating to Komplete 15.
