Replika bypass automation not working on Cubase

Hello,

I’ve encountered an issue with Replika in Cubase 14 related to plugin automation. When automating the bypass state, the Read Automation indicator in Cubase reflects the automation changes correctly, but the plugin’s effect is not audible when it should be active.

The issue can be temporarily resolved by manually toggling the bypass state off and on within Replika’s interface.

Would this be something Native Instruments should address, or does it seem more like a Cubase-specific problem?

Hey there, can you share a small video or screenshots? And also a tiny Cubase project so we can try to reproduce the issue on our end. You should be able to share those files here if you zip them first? I've also enabled you to post links.

Hi Jeremy, thank you so much for the support. I have attached a video and the associated Cubase 14 project.
If you open it as-is and press play you will hear a click when the automation kicks in instead of the effect.

If you wanna make Replika work correctly you need to disable the automation and fiddle a bit with the enable disable plugin until it works, then if you re-enable the automation it work as expected. I show that in the video.
From what I understood (on the Steinberg forums) it happens also with other third-party plugins so any finding on your side would be pretty useful in general.

Please let me know if it helps!
    Thank you!
