Why Does Saving Sound Add An Additional Extension???

When I save a sound from the software (saving from the hardware doesn't give me the option of where I want to save that file - it automatically places it in the sound folder. I put sounds in a file labeled with respective VST synth)

i.e. Clicking on sound > "save as…" > chose folder.

Any way to change this? Very annoying an unnecessary IMO.

this is a bug , I noticed this , it will keep adding another extension each time you , save as , the sound ,group or project

I’ve been meaning to report it to the beta team, I’ll do that now

Thanks! Ya, if my memory serves me (it often does not), I don't remember it always doing that.

here I just save as a group , then repeated
