Kontrol S4 MK2 not connecting to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 MK2

My Kontrol S4 MK2 is no longer connecting to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 MK2.

I tried to re-install the driver Version 2.8.0 for the S4 and it came up with "installation failed"

I am using a MAC pro OS 12 intel processor

I suspect I am either installing the wrong driver or I need to upgrade my Traktor to pro 3 or both at additional cost

Please can you advise how I make the above compatible without having to spend money on software upgrades or new hardware

I'd suggest trying the demo for TP4 - that'll check that your Mac is working with the controller ok. It also means that you know that TP4 works ok if you do decide to upgrade at some point. If it all works you can try TP2 again and see if installing TP4 loaded the correct drivers.

I have bought TP4 as advised and my Kontrol S4 MK2 is cutting in and out. It is also requesting for a software update and when into this it says the latest version is updated

I am using a MAC pro OS 12 intel processor
